“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”
Tara has been in and around sports and athletics her whole life. As a three sport athlete in high school she knew she wanted to continue in the athletic arena for her career, just didn’t know what. After 2 years of collegiate basketball, she opted to continue her education in Athletic Training at SUNY Cortland where she also completed a masters degree in Exercise Science and her Certified Strength and Conditioning exam. As a graduate assistant, she was the head athletic trainer for the football team and women’s lacrosse team at SUNY Cortland.
She ultimately continued her education in Physician Assistant Studies at Daemen College and currently works at UBMD Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She still needed more and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Baptiste Institute. This changed her life and how she views it. She has continued her movement journey with additional TRX and kettlebell trainings. MOVEMENT is medicine, and exercise to her is a MOVING meditation. She loves bringing this talented team of instructors to you at BE MOVED to MOVE you both physically and mentally.
