Kerri began her yoga practice in 2012. Coming from a dance and movement background in high school, she wanted to find a way to reconnect with that through college. Her roommate brought her to her first yoga class and was immediately drawn to it – how connected everyone in the room was to each other, the energy, the variations in everyone’s practices, all of it. She has been regularly practicing ever since.
She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training through The Practice Buffalo. This practice has changed and shaped her life in so many beautiful ways and she wants to create a space in class for others to have their own experiences on and off the mat. Her approach for her personal practice and classes is ‘You can take your practice as seriously as you want, but that doesn’t mean you have to take yourself too seriously’.
Outside of teaching, she works as a Senior Operations Manager and loves having movie nights with her cats Raspberry, Andie and Franklin.
