Joga Instructor & Certified Athletic Trainer

Jessica is a certified athletic trainer with a Master’s degree in Health and Human performance from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and brings 6 years of comprehensive sports medicine care with the University of Alabama ACHA D1 men’s hockey team and Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.

After relocating to Buffalo, she has worked as a physician extender at UBMD Orthopeadics and Sports Medicine and as the Athletic Development Coordinator for the Buffalo Junior Sabres.

She has developed a passion for injury prevention and recovery and views MOVEMENT as medicine.  She is a certified Joga instructor, a program out of Toronto, ON, which is a movement system combining breath and relaxation techniques of yoga and the science and biomechanics of sport.

Joga promotes mobility and stability as well as proper core integration making it an excellent active recovery tool.  She will also be teaching BANDS AND BELLS, a class dedicated to resistance bands and kettle bells and focuses on the power house muscles of your glues and core!
